YEAST

                                            YEAST

Today, as of this writing, April 02, 2020, yeast is not found in most of the grocery stores in the United States. In fact, I had a pastor tell me that he has searched everywhere in his town and cannot find yeast. A friend in Ohio has written that yeast is non-existent in their town.

Why is there suddenly no commercial yeast to be found? I would guess, yeast is a very scarce item in the grocery store because of the panic of the people who are afraid that they might not be able to buy food in the days to come, because of the Coronavirus COVID-19. The subsequent request/order to “Shelter in place” by the local and state governments as of this writing has caused many people to purchase supplies out of fear. In their panic, they bought food and baking supplies in large quantities to store in their homes.

The store supply chain could not keep up with panic buying. Food, groceries and other supplies are mostly trucked into various locations for distribution warehouses.  Most of these supplies are set up on a delivery on demand basis, depending on the store and it's location.

The first thing that the people did at the mention of a pandemic is to buy outrageous supplies of toilet paper! When people panic, they do and say things that they would not ordinarily say and do! I do understand that at this time, toilet paper and other paper goods are quite hard to locate. And, flour is in short supply, but there is still a lot of wheat in storage in America, so probably that will help this problem as it is trucked to the flour mills in the coming days.

Did you know that yeast can be captured in your own kitchen by just mixing flour and water? Although, it takes a few days to make sour dough bread starter, it is quite easy to keep going indefinitely. I will post a website at the end of this article that will aid in helping to make this bread starter.

Yeast is, according to Wikipedia:
"Yeasts are eukaryotic, single-celled microorganisms classified as members of the fungus kingdom. The first yeast originated hundreds of millions of years ago, and at least 1,500 species are currently recognized."

https://oureverydaylife.com/does-heat-kill-lactobacillus-bacteria-in-sourdough-12630864.html

"Lactobacillus bacteria are the stars behind sourdough, but once they have done their job to end flavor and height, these hearty bacteria are killed in the baking process. Lactobacillus Basics Lactobacillus bacteria are cultivated in a starter culture for making sourdough and provide the leavening action for bread in the absence of commercial yeast."

In order for bread to rise, it must have leaven or yeast in some form. It could be purchased yeast from the grocery store, in the form of dry, cake and instant, fast rising yeast, or it could be in the form of sourdough as in the explanation found in the above website.

Matthew 13...So, what does Matthew 13 have to do with yeast?
Yeast is mentioned in Matthew chapter 13 verse 33... "Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, (yeast), which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole batch was leavened.”
(The yeast caused the mixture to rise.)

Now, we shall discover what this meant to the disciples and maybe what it might mean to us.

In Matthew chapter 13, We read that Jesus went out of the house to sit by the lake. However, such a crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat away from the shore and spoke to those on the shore from the boat. He told them many things in parables.

Definition of a parable; I am using two references here, the first is the world view and the second is a Biblical view:

A parable is according to: https://www.thefreedictionary.com/parable

"1. a short allegorical story designed to illustrate or teach some truth, religious principle, or moral lesson. 2. a statement or comment that conveys a meaning indirectly by the use of comparison, analogy, or the like. parable. A story told by Jesus to convey his religious message."

Excerpt from above website, paragraph 4:

"Jesus' narrative parables are probably best understood as extended metaphors. The story (the image) is a window through which a larger reality (the referent) is depicted. Understanding the message of a parable is more than identifying its ‘point’ though many parables do have a focal point that is reinforced by the parable as a whole. thus it is crucial both to understand the story as it would have been understood by Jesus’ original hearers, and to understand the referent, the wider reality about which it gives insight. Typically the referent is some aspect of the kingdom of God, the reign of God in people’s hearts, or the realm of God’s sovereignty. In order to let the parable have it’s full impact, we need to see the referent in a new way through the parable story."

We will take a closer look at Matthew chapter 13. There are Five parables in the first 35 verses of Matthew 13. The first parable that Jesus spoke about was the parable of the seed:
Jesus told them many things in parables: Matthew 13:4-11

(Parable 1)
"A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he sowed, some seed fell alongside the path; and the birds came and ate it up. Other seed fell on rocky patches where there was not much soil. It sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow; but when the sun had risen, the young plants were scorched; and since their roots were not deep, they dried up. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. But others fell into rich soil and produced grain, a hundred or sixty or thirty times as much as had been sown. Those who have ears, let them hear!" And, the disciples came to him and asked him, why do you speak in parables? He answered and said to them, "Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given."

(The seed here is probably barley or wheat (in the natural, physical form) and also is understood to be the Word of God. ( in the spiritual sense)

This sounds quite harsh...why was it not given to the others to understand?

We will find out why in Verse 12:

"12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him."

Jesus was talking about the knowledge of God that was known to the people. Many of the people did not want to know anything about God, but they did want the healings and to see the miracles.
Even many of the Hebrew children did not want to obey the laws of God that Moses had brought down from the mountain of God in the form of two tablets of the law, which we know as the Ten Commandments. They preferred to do the desires of their hearts including sacrificing their children to other gods such as Baal. They did not want anybody to tell them what to do!

Continuing with Verse 13:
"Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah (see Isaiah 6:9) is fulfilled, which says: 'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive;
15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them."

Another words, if they would take to heart their sins, their transgressions from the laws of God and Repent of their sins, God would heal their hearts and give them His promises...love, peace, hope of future and many more things.

These things, the blessings and the cursings can be found listed, in detail, in Deuteronomy chapters 26-29.

But, to the disciples, Jesus said this:

Verses 16,17:
"But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;
for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it."

I believe Jesus is telling his disciples that those righteous people that lived before them, wanted to see Him... to see Jesus... Himself. Those saints desired to be in the position that the disciples were in, but it was not meant for them to be alive at that time of the Messiah. It was those 12 disciples, who were given the privilege to actually be with the promised Messiah, to be in His presence to actually learn from the promised Messiah! Those who had lived in generations past had believed in this prophecy of the Messiah coming to pass and had hoped to be alive when it did come to pass, but this was not God’s plan for them to be alive when these things came to pass. So, because it was God’s plan for the disciples to know and understand their purpose in God’s plan, the Messiah, Jesus, Himself would teach them what God’s plan was and what their part would be in this plan and for what purpose He, Jesus, had been born.

On to verse 18; "Therefore hear the parable of the sower:"

(Parable 2)
Verses 19-23 "When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."

(Parable 3)
Verse 24-30 "Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?' He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' The servants said to him, 'Do you want us then to go and gather them up?' But he said, 'No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn."

I am not sure exactly what tares are.  I have read that they look like wheat plants until the harvest, but their seed is black and poisonous.  As the wife of a farmer, I do know what a nuisance wild rye is in a wheat field! Although the days of rye pulling are long gone for me, my grandchildren understand that pulling the taller rye plants out of a wheat field a few weeks before harvest is no fun at all!

Wild rye is always taller than wheat or barley and they have large upright heads of grain. They are very bitter to the taste and not fit to eat. The barley or wheat are fairly uniform in the field and the rye is  easily seen even before time for the harvest. Also, it is interesting to note, that when the wheat and barley plants are ready for harvest, they actually to start to bow their heads of grain,  but the rye heads stand up proudly bowing to no one!

(Parable 4)
Verse 31-32
"Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field,
32 which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches."

(Parable 5)
Verses 33-35
"Another parable He spoke to them: "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven (leaven is yeast), which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal (flour) till it was all leavened."
34 All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them,
35 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: "I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world."
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field."

Starting at verse 37... the crowd was gone at this point of the story. The disciples still could not understand what the parables meant and so the story continues:

Verses 37-43
"37 He answered, "He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

To further clarify this, Jesus said:

44 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

45 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

47 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away.

49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
51 Jesus said to them, "Have you understood all these things?"
They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."

It seems clear at this point, that the disciples understood they were to be obedient to do all that Jesus was teaching them. Also, they were to remember the things that he said, even if they did not fully understand them or when these things would all come to pass.

Verses 52-58
"Then He said to them, "Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old." Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, that He departed from there. And when He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, "Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?" So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house." Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief."

Yeast is used as an example of a good thing in Matthew 13. Today, if you had yeast it would be a very good thing... especially if you had flour, too! These things are in the natural. Many people would have no idea what to do with the yeast and the flour, even if they had it in their possession! If, one compared the physical yeast to the WORD of GOD in the spiritual sense, this could be another reason why people are in a panic.
I saw a photo online, in which at that particular Walmart store, the Bible section was completely empty except for a few NIV Bibles! Many people have Bibles... some even have several Bibles. But, many have no idea what the WORD actually says. Now, they are rushing out to buy the Bible and hopefully read it.
I have given you some things to think about. Do not take my word for anything. Do your own research. Ask God to help you. He always answers a sincere heart-cry. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Yesterday is gone. We only have today. We do not know what may come tomorrow. Things can and do change overnight.

Love and Blessings to all,

Karen

2017 - Year Of Repentance

Note:  I have just lost all my commentary on the following post.  I have been kicked off the internet numerous times in the hours I have been working on this post.  I am done for tonight. I am only posting my Journal entry..as the LORD gave me the words.

2017 - Year Of Repentance

The Words GOD Gave Me for 2017
Saturday, December 3, 2016
“Cry, Cry…what shall I cry?”  ….from Isaiah 40…….2017 – Year of Repentence
I was just sitting in my recliner enjoying some of my favorite CD’s, thinking about the Presence of the LORD, and I heard;  June 17, 2017 – Day of Mourning.”
What?????  Did I hear you???  What is the meaning of that?
“Day of discouragement”   6-17-17
LORD? What is the meaning of THAT?  America’s last stand???
“Choose wisely”
“Rejoice in the LIGHT – Again, I say, R-E-J-O-I-C-E (that your name is written in the heavenly books)”

Thursday December 29, 2016
…Sing the song of the Redeemed;  for God dwells in the praises of His people.

Was thinking about the LORD’s Prayer and the 23rd Psalm…both so well known....GOD’s will being done on earth...”Were my current prayers in accord with the will of GOD?”
I do not want to be found praying against the will of GOD!
I heard a voice, not an audible voice,  but in my heart;  “Daughter of Israel, sing unto me thy praise.”
I thought to myself…what shall I sing?
“Sing the song of the redeemed.”  “Look it up”
What is the song of the redeemed????  So, I googled it.  I was surprised to find that there are several songs with that title. I listened to several.  My favorite was:
“Song of the Redeemd” by Anna Purdum    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ky6p3nx5ylQ
Revelation 14:2-3
At the end of the song these words were typed:
Every song was once a “new song”.

“Cry, cry what shall I cry”...this has been going around my hear like an earworm!!!!
So, I looked it up and read it again.

I copied it from the KJV and the RSV

Isaiah 40:6King James Version (KJV)

The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

Isaiah 40:6Revised Standard Version (RSV)

A voice says, “Cry!”
And I said, “What shall I cry?”
All flesh is grass,
and all its beauty is like the flower of the field.

The LORD is looking for true repenctence.
2 Chronicles 16: 9      KJV
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

2 Chronicles 16:9      Revised Standard Version (RSV)
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show his might in behalf of those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this; for from now on you will have wars.”
So, this is what I believe GOD is saying by His Spirit to me:
“Repent personally and corporately for all the evil that has been revealed in this country in the past few months, …. Even, what may yet be revealed.  (Wiki Leaks has, up to this point in time, never been wrong). In times past, before GOD rendered judgments (or some call them the Pleadings of the LORD) , He first revealed the sins of a people/nation.  If they repented, they were spared or blessed in some way…if not, they went into war or captivity or even destroyed.  In the event of Korah…Numbers 26:10…the earth opened up and swallowed them up.
I think, we are at a time in history that we must repent, or we might be facing one of the above!  Also, IF …..we are in the end time of the End Times… we had better be on our knees! Because,  without GOD’s protection, we will be toast!  The Bible says that an Angel is sent out to put a mark on the forehead of everyone who is sighing and crying for the abomantions being done in the earth.

Ezekiel 9:3-5Amplified Bible (AMP)

Then the [[a]Shekinah] glory and brilliance of the God of Israel (the cloud) [b]went up from the cherubim on which it had rested, to [stand above] the threshold of the [Lord’s] temple. And the Lord called to the man clothed with linen, who had the scribe’s writing case at his side. The Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, throughout all of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh [in distress] and grieve over all the repulsive acts which are being committed in it.” But to the others I heard Him say, “Follow him [the man with the scribe’s writing case] throughout the city and strike; do not let your eyes have pity and do not spare [anyone].
There is also another mark or seal:
Revelation 13:16
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

I am not sure where we are in history…perhaps we are in the last few years. I have always felt that I would still be here when Jesus returns….but so have many others through the years.   All I know for sure, is that many of the prophecies of the Bible have come to pass in my lifetime, that were impossible in years past, because of lack of technology.
Lack of technology is not a problem today.  The doubling of computer processing speed every 18 months, known as Moore's Law, is just one manifestation of the greater trend that all technological change occurs at an exponential rate.

More commentary to come at a later date.

May you have a Blessed New Year!

2016 - Year of Recompense???

2016 --- Year of Recompense???

Dear Ones,

Good morning! It's a glorious sunshiny Sunday… January 03, 2016!

How did you spend your New Year’s Eve?  What are you envisioning for 2016?  Two questions we all think about… one way or another!

Years ago, I inquired of some very good friends, “What do you do on New Year’s Eve?”    They gave a quick glance at one another and then quietly spoke, “We don’t go anywhere. We spend the time in prayer and seeking GOD’s will for the coming year.”

What a wonderful tradition!  I decided then and there, I would do the same.  I cannot think of a better way to bring in the New Year than with GOD’s blessings!  So now, that has become my tradition…spending New Year's Eve at home seeking the LORD's guidance for the coming New Year!

Reading through my journal entries of past years, I can see now how GOD has worked in my life through this time I have set aside for HIM each year.   Sometimes GOD has given me a complete sentence to ponder for the future... but mostly just a word or two, sometimes He has given me a Bible verse location or a partial verse or phrase…meaning it was up to me to “search it out”! Always, GOD has given me a "word" in due season.  It is written :
Matthew 6:33         Aramaic Bible in Plain English
But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

At the beginning, I was just seeking a prophetic word for my life and my families.  But, as the years have gone by, I could see that "Word" could also be applied to the body of Christ as well.  Usually about the time I think of writing Christmas cards, I start wondering what the “Word” will be for the coming year. The past several years, God has given me a "Word" before I even began to seek Him concerning the coming year!
I was lying in bed on December 26, 2015 at 12:59 AM...just thinking about the recent family Christmas...the things of the past year. It occurred to me, …..I had not even thought about asking GOD for a "Word", nor had He given me one for the coming year!

It was at that moment I clearly heard the Holy Spirit ask me, "What did Elisha do?"
When GOD asks me a question, I pay attention because I know He wants to reveal something to me!  I understood I was to do a search on the life and ministry of Elisha. ... To seek out the WORD so that I would find the "word for 2016". I think it is "Healing and Restoration" for my families and also for the body of Christ, both Jew and Gentile.

However, as I sat down to write in my journal for the first entry of 2016; @ 8:38 AM, Saturday, January 2, 2016....
I found myself writing across the top of the page ….  2016-Year of recompense.
Recompense….what exactly does that mean?

The first verse that came to mind was…”render her double for her inequity is great ..

Revelation 18:6    (English Revised Version)
“Render unto her even as she rendered, and double unto her the double according to her works: in the cup which she mingled, mingle unto her double.”

The second one was a little more comforting:

Ruth 2:12           (King James Version)
The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

There are more writings/verses on the "rendering of vengeance than good towards men on earth ... I am thinking that it will probably be both... Healing and restoration of the body of Christ...bringing the family of GOD together & also wicked men getting their reward for the evil they have done ... Each man in their own time...
In the late 1990's, my Bible Study ladies & I sponsored a 3-day seminar on Prophecy at Penalosa. The speakers, "Mike and Kay McQuiddy", were from Colorado Springs, wealthy business people who found Jesus ...following their fall from wealth. Anyway, he spoke of a time soon coming which would truly be, "The best of times and the worst of times at the same time." This was my introduction into eschatology.  Mike spoke of a man whom  he believed to be a great man of GOD, Henry Gruver.  Henry  calls this season of time, "the multiplication factor";... Whatever is in a person will be multiplied ... The glorious church doing signs and wonders…. and the great powers of darkness of the evil forces coming together for the time of the end ....known as The Great Tribulation, or as the scripture says... "The time of Jacob's trouble."
The times we live in today are surely the last minutes of the end times spoken of in the Holy Scriptures.   Never before have we had the wisdom and technology to understand the prophetic events  spoken about in the Bible. We do now understand these events ……as they come to pass before our very eyes in the headlines of the news! Truly we hear the news speak of wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes in many places, sink holes…erratic weather, persecution, beheadings… evil men working their evil deeds without fear of recompense from the people.

Yet, millions of people world-wide are giving their hearts to Jesus!   Some from the Middle East even saying that Jesus appeared to them in a vision!  Even more astonishing is this except from the internet:

“More than 25 prominent rabbis from Israel and abroad recently issued a statement calling for a renewed look at Jesus, Christians and the New Testament faith. Quoting from their own sages, these outstanding  Orthodox rabbis are not ashamed to exalt the name of Jesus, welcoming the carpenter from Nazareth back into the Jewish fold."..........................."And there is more. “After nearly two millennia of mutual hostility and alienation, we Orthodox Rabbis who lead communities, institutions and seminaries in Israel, the United States and Europe… seek to do the will of our Father in Heaven by accepting the hand offered to us by our Christian brothers and sisters,”

(Above Paragraph is Quoted from a posted internet article from  “Israel Today”:  Orthodox Rabbis Bring Jesus Home for Christmas  - Thursday, December 24, 2015 |  David Lazarus)

Yes, it is the time of Joel chapter 2:

Joel 2:28              KingJames Version (KJV)
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
We do indeed serve an AWESOME GOD!
May the Blessings of the LORD GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob be upon you and overcome you in 2016!

Peace …Shalom ,

Can I Ask You A Few Questions???

Dear Reader,

I am writing this to you, as a believer in Christ Jesus, GOD the Father and Holy Spirit.  What each of us do with our lives matters...character matters, integrity matters, honor matters .... what is our responsibility today?   What has God given us to do?  Corporately and individually?  How are we to survive in a culture that is rapidly going downhill ....where Biblical values are being cast aside, ridiculed and even... prosecuted?

We are in the last days…indeed; we have been for hundreds of years! However there is a period of time called “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble”, which I believe is quickly approaching, whether months or years, I do not know, only that each day brings us closer to THAT DAY!
The Bible gives us clues and indications of this time, when there will be terrible tribulation upon all on the earth.  There is much that needs to happen before Jesus returns for HIS BRIDE.  However, technology and knowledge has increased dramatically in the last 50 years…and men do travel all over the world…..wars and rumors of wars…nations and kingdoms rising against each other….lawlessness in high places…

So, we should be aware and know that our time is short.  We should know the purpose for which we were created:  We were created for God’s good pleasure…to be conformed into the image of Jesus Christ.  We should know we have been placed here, on earth in 2014 for such a time as this.  We are in a war, (but, we do know who wins in the end).  The war is for the souls of men.  We know that the harvest is continually ready … and there are few harvesters and …the battle is fierce.

Can I ask you a question?

“What is the value of a soul?”

This is a question that Holy Spirit asked me as I was out hiking in the Mountains while going to Bible College…I cannot put a value on a soul...it is incalculable...God sent Jesus, His only begotten Son to die for  YOU and me!  He paid the price we couldn't!  He came down from heaven to save us, His creation!  His death and blood set us free from sin and His resurrection restored us into a right relationship with GOD the Father!  How can I put a value on even one soul???

Are you willing to be obedient unto the calling of GOD?  Are you ready to surrender all, even knowing that many people will laugh at you or be scornful or even hateful?  Are you ready to speak as the Holy Spirit directs instead of as the world of religion would have you to speak???
If we are the temple of the LORD…. and bought with the price of the BLOOD of Jesus…DO we really have any choice but to freely serve our LORD and MASTER ….because of HIS LOVE for us and our grateful LOVE for HIM?

In my prayer time with the LORD on December 21, 2013, I asked Him for a “WORD” for the coming year.  I heard one word, “LOVESTORY”.

I am so excited to be alive during this time in history to see the unfolding of the revelation of the “Greatest LOVESTORY Ever Told “ to the world!  The scriptures the Holy Spirit gave me to go with this WORD are:  Malachi 4:6 and Romans 5:5.
Truly …the best of times and the worst of times at the some time…As the LIGHT of CHRIST brightens (Christ in You, the hope of Glory)…the distinction between light and dark becomes so much clearer.

David Wilkerson wrote about the Glory of GOD, being the revelation of HIS WONDERFUL NATURE AND CHARACTER…meant to equip us, build us up and give us an inheritance…among all which are sanctified…He also wrote about the names of GOD, each revealing a part of HIS CHARACTER…GOD revealed these things to us so that we might be changed by the understanding of it!

As, I was thinking on these things a few days ago, the question came to me.  What was the “Joy” set before Jesus that made HIM WANT to endure the cross? What exactly did Jesus see that gave Him so much Joy, that He willing laid down HIS life???

I begin to recall Bible verses;

Restore unto me the joy of my salvation…Ps. 51:12

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy…Ps. 126:5

…there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner..Luke 15:10

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full…John 15:11

The “joy” of the LORD is our strength…Nehemiah 8:10

…I create Jerusalem arejoicing, and her people a joy..Is. 65:18

I did a search on the word “Joy”.

If we, the people of GOD, are the Joy set before Jesus…what, exactly is it about us, that gives Him and us “Joy”??

I thought about the Bride of Christ….How did she get herself ready???What did she do..or not do to prepare herself for the wedding feast???? What is Holy Spirit telling us to do today???

I thought about David Wilkerson’s description of the Glory….and our purpose, as born again believers…. “to be conformed into the image of Jesus Christ”…justified…glorified….Romans 8:29,30.

...His train (of His Glory) filled the temple. Is. 6:1

…the whole earth is full of His Glory. Is. 6:3

Did Jesus see His Bride with such Joy because she was exhibiting the character and qualities of His FATHER…shining like the sun with clean hands and a pure heart…. in the midst of a  very dark and tumultuous earth ???

There is a scripture on a large cross that I have set high upon my kitchen cabinets;
…”As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD” Joshua 24:15b….That is my daily prayer.

I leave you with this question:

What will you say when you are asked…”What did you do with what I gave you?”????

Love, Blessings, Peace and Joy to you!
