 HOPE, FAITH And LOVE.....

 I had been laying in bed listening to “Simply Worship”, by Charlie and Jill LeBlanc for about an hour and suddenly, I saw the map of the United States in my mind’s eye.   Dave had posted it on FB.  It was red/blue/purple….someone had colored the map to show the overlapping votes…red for Republican and blue for Democrats.  As I looked at the map, the thought occurred to me that,  She, the US,  looked beaten and bruised. 

I heard the LORD say quietly in my heart:   “She has Leprosy.”   

I thought about this for awhile.  As I was pondering this thought, I heard the LORD say, “Get up.  I want to show you something.”

I got up, put on my robe and went to the kitchen to make a pot of coffee.  I was surprised to find it was already made…the clock had not been reset for the fall.  With coffee in hand I got out my journal and waited for the Spirit to speak.

(This  a long word and to clarify it, I will put God where the Holy Spirit/Jesus/Father, the GODHEAD is speaking and me where I replied.  Read this as if it is a play with two characters.  God and a human being)

The Spirit began to speak to my heart:

GOD:  My daughter…the country,…. Your country is sick,…like Leprosy---full of spots, wrinkles and missing links…your  people, the people of the USA, are gone astray!  MY Family is scattered and torn.  We must bring Her together.  You and ME and others like you… who know the times and who are obedient to do MY will in these days of darkeness and light.  (All of you who are the called and chosen for such a time as this, is implied)  Go now and give hope to the oppressed and care for the dying, rescue the perishing and LOVE with all your might…as it is given unto you “LOVE”, pressed down and without measure!  Speak the TRUTH in LOVE—OVERCOME EVIL WITH GOOD.   Do not tolerate error, but gently and sternly correct those who would rail against you.

Speak as MY Spirit gives you…. Truth, Wisdom, Knowledge, Discernment, rightly dividing My WORD.

(I see the map, all beaten and bruised)

GOD:  Come out of her…the Babylonian system… and set the standard--- Character, integrity, holiness, purity refined beauty, gentleness, humble (defined as: great power, greatly restrained).  Do not be angry and sin, but let righteousness be the standard of character.  Be ye holy as IAM HOLY.  Let your anger be directed at the one who is a liar and a thief, the father of lies….but let mercy reign in your heart.  Be angry and sin not.  Set the balances straight.  Lift up the standard—seek the higher ground and let no man deceive you, for IAM THE LORD your GOD!  I  AM the LORD who delivers you.  I AM GOD and there is none like ME. I know not any… DO you???

Me:  I quickly thought;   “No LORD, You are ALMIGHTY GOD, LORD, KING, SAVIOR, DELLIVERER, PROVIDER and so much more!  There is none like you! In You I have my life, breath and being.  You are the reason I live!  Your love surrounds me.  You, LORD, give me hope, faith and abiding LOVE…. And so much more!  Your WORD, ever lives to give food to the hungry and hope to the people, to the nations—food that never spoils or perishes, everlasting food—sustaining food!”

Also, the reason GOD told me to speak/read HIS word out loud is because HIS WORD is not void and will perform into/unto the thing unto which it is sent.  The spiritual realm is more real than the natural realm and every word we speak effects everything in both the spiritual and the natural realm.  There is a time coming when we will all have to give an account of every idle word we have spoken. 

There's a Prophet on the Prairie...

There’s a Prophet on the Prairie…...

There’s a prophet on the prairie….or more specifically….there is a prophet coming to Pretty Prairie!   That’s in Kansas…..yes…Kansas… the place some call the “flyover” state!  Pretty Prairie, Kansas is the heartland of the nation! If an X were placed over the map of these United States, Pretty Prairie, Kansas would be very close to the center of the X! 

The prophet is Oop Schrauner, a farmer, mechanic and oilfield worker, who learned to read at age 45 and graduated from college a few years later.  His sense of humor, honesty and amazing stories will capture your attention! After a little more searching, I discovered more about this discreet man of God from an excerpt out of the book, “From Stage to Stage and Glory to Glory”, by Ron Griffith.  Ron describes his first encounter with Oop on pages 11-17.  Quite interesting…especially if one needs convincing that God knows what we need, even before we do and desires to bless us! It interested me enough that I ordered the book!

Anyway, I hope some of you reading this, which live in the area, find the time to come hear the prophet speak.  I don’t think you will be disappointed.  It’s always good to hear about Jesus!

The Season we are in is about to change.  

We are at a Crossroad.  We will soon have to make a choice.  We must choose wisely. 

I watched the debates, both the Presidential and the Vice Presidential….. I don’t think I have ever seen anything like that before!  It was quite disturbing to say the least!  The sad thing about the current political system, the economic system and the turmoil among the nations….so many things are so broken, I don’t think they are fixable!  However, those who know the truth,  know it is supposed to happen, to be like that in the last days….the line of separation between good and evil will become more and more visible.  We may not know exactly where we are in God’s timeline, the exact day, but we can know we are definitely getting closer to what is called, “the time of Jacob’s trouble”, if, indeed we are not already in it!  

All we have to do is read the Bible…the signs and prophecies that were written about the end times, are coming to pass before our eyes!  You can find a list of 48 Biblical prophecies about Jesus and also, Isaiah’s prophecy about the rebirth of the nation of Israel, that have already come to pass on this website:

No matter who wins the election, GOD will use him for His purposes, just as he used Moses and Pharaoh to set the Israelites free from the bondage of Egypt and King Cyrus to build a temple in Jerusalem.

As I see it, our main job here on earth, our destiny, if you will,  is to seek the heart of Father GOD and to have a personal relationship with Him through His only begotten Son, Jesus.  Then, share what we know with others.

Too simple?  Maybe.  We love Him, GOD, because He first loved us.  The Scriptures say that it is the goodness of the LORD that brings us to repentance and allows us to see our need of a Savior.

So, we seek Him in prayer and through His written WORD.  We cry out to Him and He will answer our heart cry!  He will reveal Himself to us! 

  
 When we believe in Jesus, confess our belief with our mouth and receive the gift of everlasting life, we are then taught and sealed by His Holy Spirit forever.  Everything else we need to know will come to us by the infilling of the Holy Spirit of God. Our desires will change from the desires of the flesh (as we learn from Him).  Our deepest desires, the desires He placed in our hearts, will surface as we become conformed to His image. The Holy Spirit comes bearing gifts for us to use for the glory of GOD.  Every good and perfect gift comes down from above, from the Father of Lights, Our ABBA Father who loves us more than we can even imagine, has already hidden in us, everything we need to accomplish our assignment here on earth!  He did not say it would be easy, no.  He said there will be many trials and tribulations, but, He will NEVER leave us or forsake us!  That means forever He is with us!  He is right there with us in all things!  When our earthly assignment is done and our time here is up, we get to be with Him in a perfect world forever!

No More Field Trips

 

 

Good Evening, it is late night August 23, 2012, 

 

In the midst of drought...there was a gentle rainfall early this morning...but it didn't last long... only enough moisture to settle the dust!  Currently there are 44 large fires burning in the USA.   

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

National Climatic Data Center"s website,    During July, warm and dry weather brought ideal wildfire conditions to a large portion of the nation. The 2.01 million acres that were burned by wildfires was the 4^th most on record, while the 9,869 fires was the 5^th most in the 2000-2012 record for July.  

The drought situation could become very costly to all of us....millions of dollars in insurance claims...and there is even speculation that dust storms could cost millions of dollars in damage to the economy.  See the following websites for more information concerning these issues.

Almost every morning I make a pot of coffee or tea and then spend time in the Holy Bible, writing in my journal and in prayer.  I want to know the heart of my Father in Heaven.  I want the desires of my heart to be the desires He placed there.  I want to know HIS will.

 

I am deeply grateful that Jesus made a covenant with the Father to pay the price of  redemption from sin for all who will believe and receive this gift of everlasting life with Almighty GOD!  I am committed to be obedient to all that He places in my heart to do and to say, or die trying.  I am not my own, I was bought and paid for with a price!  I love GOD because He first loved me.  I love others because He lives in me and the scriptures say "GOD is LOVE".  I love my families, friends, neighbors and my country...and I am deeply concerned about the direction many of them are taking!  It is written, 

 

"There is a way that seems right to men, but it leads to destruction."

 

I have been thinking a lot about what Timothy had to say in 2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:¹⁷ That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

In the Bible, whenever people turned away from GOD and worshiped idols, one of the things GOD sent to them was drought. Whenever people turned to homosexuality...sexual deviance, filthy behavior, and every form of godlessness known to mankind, it wasn't long before they went into captivity or were completely destroyed. 

Sodom and Gomorrah is an example of what happens to a debased and sick society.  After 3000 years...it still stands as a symbol of rebellion against GOD and His WORD!

It is estimated that about 3000 babies per day have been aborted in America since Roe v. Wade.

It is now "OK" for a child to have 2 Mommies or 2 Daddy's; Our children are being taught they can choose their sexuality!!!

We used to have a Constitution that stood between the people and the power of the Presidency to control the actions of the people.  We used to have freedom of speech...and rights given to us by our CREATOR!

What makes us think that we are better than those that have gone before us? 

What makes us think that the stench of our collective national sins have not reached the nostrils of GOD?

What makes us think that we should not fear the judgments, the pleadings of GOD to return to Him? 

Where are the people of GOD who strive to stay on the crown of the road, to walk the path of righteousness?  Who love the laws of GOD which were given to us for our benefit?

In the past, GOD has allowed HIS people to wander down rabbit trails and off the beaten path.  He has always brought them back on the pathway to Heaven. He reached down and rescued them time after time; However, there comes a time when a line is drawn in the sand and the consequences of that wandering must be realized.  There is a harvest for the seeds sown.  

There comes a time, when there is... no more time...choose ye this day whom ye will serve...and the consequences are final...eternal death or life. NO MORE field trips!  Either one must serve the living GOD or the fallen angel called Lucifer. To NOT make a choice is an automatic choice for death!

I have been half-halfheartedly posting some political ads on FB.  However, I find it sad to even think about the choices we have for our President.  Neither man is a born again, Bible Believing Christian!  Religion will NOT get anyone to heaven!  The blood and cross of Jesus Christ is the only ticket to heaven!

I have come to the conclusion that we, as a country have lost our way... 

NO MORE FIELD TRIPS!

Possibly....TRUE Repentance... on our knees with fervent prayers and maybe GOD will have mercy and grace upon our nation and maybe we will not go into captivity for a little while longer.

Dear Family and Friends,

I have been listening to Rick Wiles for a couple of weeks and have passed on his radio show/web site to many of you on my email list.  I don't know a lot about him, however, there seems to be a lot of information on his shows.  Some of his guests I have personally met and know to be good Christian men.  Others, I have questions about.  No one man or ministry has all the answers...many of the people in Ministry whom I trust are not popular with the public.  No matter who one is, or what one believes, it appears there is someone against something one has said or done.  There are many truthful people in Ministry, however, there are also many who pollute GOD'S WORD.  We must be like the Bereans and search the Holy Bible to seek the truth of a matter.

NO ONE is perfect and every story has more than one side.  We should be careful of what we hear and what we speak.  We are instructed in the Bible to test the spirits.  We have the Holy Spirit abiding in us to lead us in all truth.  So, we must seek the LORD daily, asking for wisdom, discernment, knowledge and understanding.  We live in a fallen world and the deception is great, so we need the help of Almighty GOD for us to survive in these sick and wicked days!

Our country is not in a good position spiritually.  Our collective sins in the USA have exceeded the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah.  We have not repented, but have elected officials to office who had tried to eliminate GOD and His WORD from every public place and have erected monuments and elaborate buildings unto themselves and the selfish causes they promote.  Wherever GOD is pushed aside, evil abounds.  We, as a people are no different than ancient Israel.  We have turned our noses up to GOD and told HIM, We don't need you and we don't want you. Everyone does what is right in his own mind.  Without acknowledging and repenting from our sins..our country is primed for a fall.  It is time to get on our knees and repent ....perhaps GOD will have mercy on us, yet.

The war on this earth is evil vs good ....and it is for the souls of men! I think, we as Christians, have a responsibility to be informed of what is going on in the world without being in fear.  We are the Light of Christ in a dark and dying world.  We must point the way to Jesus by the way we live our lives and by the good and sound words we speak. Matthew 10:16 says

^"16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."

 It is our personal relationship with Christ Jesus, GOD the Father and Holy Spirit that is the most important thing in our life.  It is out of our relationship with our Father and with the help of the Holy Spirit,  that we become conformed unto the image of HIS Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ.  It is this "Goodness"  this Unconditional LOVE of GOD in us, in the form of the Holy Spirit,  that makes us different from all other created beings.  GOD, who is LOVE, chose us to be HIS FAMILY forever, not just in the here and now and on this earth, but for eternity!

We have all sinned and come short of the glory, but I pray daily that ABBA FATHER draws us closer to HIM today than yesterday.  That our hearts are ready to receive the things HE has for us, that we have eyes to see the visions He gives us.  I pray we are blessed by HIS Great Mercy and Grace this day.  I pray we have favor with others of the body of Christ.  I pray we seek the LOVER of our souls fervently while there is time.  I pray the Goodness of the LORD falls on us today and overcomes us!  I pray we see the GLORY of the LORD in the land of the living.  I pray that all of our families come unto the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!  I pray that we, who are called and chosen to be servants of the MOST HIGH GOD, live the life that GOD planned for us before the foundation of the earth.  I pray we fulfill our destinies in this world as we become more like CHRIST... for HIS GLORY!

That is my prayer for you...all of you...family, friends, neighbors, acquaintances, and all the Truth Tellers in various places.  I pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and I pray for Israel...may Israel soon know her Messiah and may the Jew and Gentile become one new man in Christ Jesus!  Amen

Spiritually Speaking....Love is....

Love is GOD.  That is what is written in the scriptures of the Holy Bible. 

 

February 14, 2012, Valentine’s Day.... the expression of human love..…the love of a young man and woman…cupid shooting his arrows at young people….cartoons for kids....one can purchase a variety of Valentine cards from the very funny to the most intimate… to send to your “special” Valentine.  It is always a “good thing” to let people know that you love them.  But, what is LOVE?

 `

GOD is LOVE.  Without GOD, LOVE canNOT exist. 

We are in the season that is called, “Lent”.  I didn’t grow up with that concept, or with the idea of giving up something for GOD.  As I think about Lent, I have to wonder what can I “give up” for GOD that He has NOT already given up for me???  He gave His only begotten Son up for me!  He gave Jesus up.  

He punished Jesus for the sins of the world..every sin every man, woman and child has ever committed or ever will commit!   Jesus, the Innocent ONE,  laid down His life willingly because of what He saw…  in us in the future!  He took on the guilt and sin of us all… YOU and me, that we might live forever with Him!  Once and for all, Jesus paid the price of sin for all people.

GOD is LOVE.  Without GOD we canNOT live forever with Him.

It is written of Jesus, that He came to give us life and life more abundantly!  He broke the devil’s arm of power when He died on the cross, descended into Hades, preached the gospel of the Kingdom, rose from the grave, taking with Him the keys of the Kingdom and ascended into heaven.   All power and authority in heaven and on earth is HIS!  All things are possible to those who believe in Christ Jesus, our Messiah!!!!

GOD is LOVE.  In Him we have our life, our breath and our being.

It is written that Jesus said:  “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. “ 

We love Him because He first loved us.  Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel of the Kingdom.”     

What is the gospel of the Kingdom???  

GOD is LOVE.  If you believe Jesus…….Go tell everyone the good news… You don’t have to die, you can live forever with Jesus!!!
